Art exhibition 2023
An art exhibition at St Mary’s Church, arranged by The Friends of Sompting Church and the West Sussex Art Society as part of the Worthing Artists Open Houses 2023, proved very popular. West Sussex Art Society Members showed some of their larger paintings and also sculpture, ceramics, drawings and greeting cards.
Flower festival 2007
A flower festival was held in July 2007, decorating the church with floral arrangements that represented well-known bible stories.
