St. Mary’s church

St. Mary’s church is situated between Worthing and Lancing, just off the busy A27 dual carriageway at the northern edge of Sompting village. It is signposted as ‘Sompting Parish Church’ – turn left (north) off the A27 onto Church Lane. Please use postcode BN15 0AZ if you’re relying on satellite navigation.

The church is an ancient and historic building. It is suitable for assisted disabled visitors, although wheelchair users will find parts of the church inaccessible. Some areas of the grounds are unsuitable for wheelchairs and there is an inclined path between the car park and church buildings.
